About the Organisation

AFOLU Ethiopia Board Led Organisation

A non-profit, apolitical, non-governmental board-led organisation registered under Civil Society Organizations Proclamation No. 1113/2011, working across Agriculture, Forestry and Other Land Use. Head office: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
AFOLU ኢትዮጵያ በቦርድ የሚመራ ድርጅት — በሲቪል ማኅበረሰብ ድርጅቶች አዋጅ ቁጥር 1113/2011 መሠረት የተመዘገበ፣ ከፖለቲካ ነጻ የሆነ፣ ትርፍ የማይሰራ ድርጅት።

To become, over the next ten years, a leading centre of knowledge, science and policy advice on agriculture, forestry and land management across East Africa and the wider continent.

በቀጣዮቹ አስር ዓመታት ውስጥ በምሥራቅ አፍሪካና በመላው አህጉሪቱ በግብርና፣ በደንና በመሬት አስተዳደር ዙሪያ ግንባር ቀደም የዕውቀት፣ የሳይንስና የፖሊሲ አማካሪ ማዕከል መሆን።

To connect professionals, researchers, policymakers and development partners in agriculture, forestry and land use — advancing sustainable natural-resource management, promoting climate-resilient practices, and creating positive impact on communities.

በግብርና፣ በደን ልማትና በመሬት አጠቃቀም ዘርፎች የተሰማሩ ባለሙያዎችን በማስተሳሰር ዘላቂ የተፈጥሮ ሀብት አስተዳደርን ማስፋፋት፣ የአየር ንብረት ለውጥን የሚቋቋሙ ሥራዎችን ማበረታታትና በማህበረሰቡ ኑሮ ላይ በጎ ተጽዕኖ መፍጠር።

Organisational Structure

How AFOLU Ethiopia is Governed
